This node allows you to sort the input data (row wise) based on selecting a input column. You also have a choice of sort methods.
- Output Data Columns section allows you to analyse what input data columns are incomming into the node. By default the first column in the list is chosen as the column to use to sort the rows in the input data. You can click on any column to change the selection.
- Sort Column section indicates the chosen sort column.
- Sort Direction section allows you choose how the column will be sorted, in Ascending or Descending order.
- Sort Algorithm section allows you to choose the sort method best suited for the chosen column. Bubble Sort is very fast for data that is almost sorted. Selection Sort is very fast for small amounts of data. Quick Sort is very fast for large rows of data that are randomly distributed. Shell Sort is generally fast for large rows of data.
