This node allows you to sample the input rows and pass them out to the output. You have several options on how the sampling is performed.
- Mode section determines the logic performed by the Style section. Pass On will pass through to the output the input data rows satisfied by the Style section. Discard will do the opposite.
- Style section allows you to specify the sample method.
- First style will examine at most the number of rows given in the Style Entry text box. If Mode = Pass On then this number of rows will be passed into the output data. If Mode = Discard then the remaining rows in the input data will be passed into the output data.
- 1 - in - N style will examine only the consecutive Nth row in the input data and pass it to the output. If Mode = Pass On where N is the number given in the Style Entry text box. If Mode = Discard then every row that is not the consecutive Nth row will be passed into the output data.
- Random style will examine a random amount of input data rows. If Mode = Pass On then the percentage of rows passed into the output data file is given by value in the Style Entry text box. If Mode = Discard then the percentage of rows passed into the output file is 100% minus the value given in the Style Entry text box.
- Output Data Columns section allows you to analyse what input data columns are incomming into the node.
